Dr. Marlon Mitchell was born and spent his formative years in East Chicago. He is a product of the East Chicago and Gary Public Schools and graduate of Indiana University. A member and Associate Minister at Antioch Baptist Church and lifelong community advocate for social, environmental and educational justice. As a leader in K12 and higher education; he is committed to the empowerment of the citizens and ensuring that our youth have the best educational and economic opportunities to achieve their dreams.
